For users who don't know, this is how you edit your thread title:
1: Go to the 1st post of your thread
2: Press the edit button that is located at the bottom right hand corner of the post.
3: Press the "Go Advanced" button.
4: Edit your title.
5: Press the save changes button.

That's how I've tried in the past. It didn't work. Does it work now?

[edit] just tried. it changed it on the individual post, but it didn't change on the thread listing.

As far as I know only admins/mods can change the actual thread title in VB.

I tried a test thread using another account that is a non staff member account and it worked. i'll look more into it when i get home and not using my phone to access the forum.

What happens is after the thread exists for a while or after so many edits of the title, then it stops working.

When I first started my FS thread in like August, it worked fine. Then it stopped updating the title in November.

I can change the title of a thread easily enough, only it doesn't show the edited title in forum view.

Everyone on any autouniverse forum using VB is having this issue. Its server issue. The problem is being looked into.
