ABS light on 2011 civic
Went to the dealer today since there was a squeaking noise coming from the front. Guy comes back says I need brakes, some fluids changed and cabin filter changed. Nothing about the ABS light being on. I just went ahead with the brake change. When all finished he told me that the ABS light turned on and I will need a new sensor which will cost me another 200. Is it possible for the ABS light to turn on after brake job? Would it be their fault for damaging it? Or did they not connect something correctly?

There is an ABS sensor at each wheel, so it is conceivable they could get damaged while working on the brakes.
The light was not on when you went in, right?
As with any work that's not under warranty, you have the right to get your old "bad" parts for inspection. If it's still on the car, have them show you the problem. Cut or mangled wires would mean faulty workmanship and they would need to pay for it.
