driver door window regulator
window regulators broken... i don't really need specifics, i just wanted to get some idea of how hard this repair is... also is 75 dollars a reasonable price for the setup ( manual crank regulator)
I had to pull the broken one out of my sister's 99 DX. It wasn't too bad. There were several screws to take out, then I had to take the window off the regulator, but it wasn't bad at all. If you're comfortable with tools, you'd do fine.
Is it really broken? I've got my door apart right now trying to fix mine (94 4 door).
The window gets cocked unless you kept the glass slid rearward while cranking when putting it up. I can't see anything broken.
With the window half way down I can slide the glass forward and backwards in the track a good 3/8" or so. I think that may be the problem, but I don't see any track adjustments..
