5 speed swap
Well I finally found a deal on a full 5 speed swap, now all I need to know is what do I have to do wiring wise,
I know I need the manual ECU, but is there anything I need to do wiring wise. I have heard that I need to take the bulb out of the park light on the dash so i can get the key out, is this true?
Also what do I need to do about the reverse lights? is there any wires I need to run?
Is there a switch on the clutch or anything like that I would need to get?
If theres anything else you could help me out with please let me know. Thanks

This is a different year so the plug will be different, but the concept will be the same in the wiring section of the write-up.
On this plug by the auto shifter, there will be 2 wires that are the same circuit. They go to the shifter and when it's in park or neutral it allows you to start the car. You'll have to figure out which 2 wires those are on the plug, and then run them to clutch interlock switch on the clutch pedal arm. Or, you can tap the wires together... however this will allow you to start the car even if the clutch pedal isn't pushed down. As long as you don't try to start it in gear you will be fine... just remember.

Then within 5 minutes of me getting the d**m car to start and run, he spun a f**king bearing. How you can spin a bearing at idle I have no clue, but he did it (not only did I diagnose the reason the car wasn't starting (he didn't do any wiring), but I also diagnosed the noise... after 2 days of him arguing with me, he brought in a mechanic friend. Guess who was right
