Where do i put it?
Ok, I just bought a civic off of a guy at work, and the speedometer doesn't work, there is a new cable attached to the cluster, but i don't know where to attach it on the transmission. Like i said I'm new at the whole civic game, but if it's important the car is a 91 civic w/ a 5-speed. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Oh and while i'm at it does anyone know how hard it is to replace the upper driver-side ball jt. and cv axle? Thanks

RE: Where do i put it?
the speedometer cable goes in the upper rear of the transmission. behind the starter. you just put it in the hole and put the retaining clip on.
the ball joint and axle are easy. take out the two bolts under the hood for the upper control arm, and unbolt the ball joint itself from the steering knuckle.put in the new control arm, or have a new ball joint pressed in.
for the axle, take off the 32 mm nut on the axle, and unbolt the steering knuckle and the strut from the lower control arm. then you should be able to move the knuckle out of the way to pull the axle out of the tranny.
