Wow, thats an awesome DIY write up... too bad it shows just how much im going to have to do... As far as the flywheel goes, i'm thinking of a Fidanza Pro Lite which is 7.5lbs. That would help my engine rev faster and such wouldnt it? But decrease the effect of downshifting to slowdown and I would lose power going up hills then? Are there any other downsides to a lightweight flywheel?

I seriously wouldn't go below 12lbs for a flywheel.

Just got an Exedy stage 1 and a Fidanza 8lb flywheel off of ebay for $250. yay!
