Depending what 18 you used I dont know if you have enough room in the trunk of a civic for a box made big enough for the proper air space needed to push the sub.
My buddy has a single 15 inch DD in his eclipse and just that 15 needs 4 cubes of air space.

dang lol ok i will got wit the three twelves than...
and right now i have 1 twelve [infinite dual voice coil 1250w] but i am not able to put any power into it [i have bout 400 watts going into it] because it is only one speaker i know itll blow like the last one lol
even wit the watts i have running it doesn't hit as hard as i like and i don't wanna push it to hit harder or else i start to smell the sub blowing so i just keep it real low

Are you going to try to compete?
If not I would recommend looking into something a little different if you just are looking to be loud.
I have a single 12 inch Kicker CVX (750rms 1200peak) with a kicker ZX750.1 mono block (rated at 936 watts) and that one 12 pounds hard as ****. I can be heard a good ways away. To each their own but 3 12s and you still lose all your trunk space

You're not going to miss alot of notes, and certain sounds because the sub is so huge, but if your hearts set on it go for it. I found even with my 2-12"(Alpines) non ported I'd still miss a few notes. If your hearts set on it though go for it.
BTW i get my hearing tested on a yearly basis and you will lose hearing. My subs could shake my buddies *** in his house when he was on the 2nd floor sitting on the computer when i was sitting in the middle of the highway waiting to turn into his driveway. I wouldn't even want to see the results with an 18"
