2005 Civic Sedan 5MT
After hooking up my amp to power the 2 12"s in my trunk, and re-connecting the battery wire, and after entering the radio code after re-connect, my radio cut off after I moved the amp around in the trunk to position it foir mounting. Instead of using an aftermarket stereo i decided to use a bare-end RCA wire to connect to the posts on the speaker in the back deck and run that to the amp (i avoided having to use an aftermarket stereo or RCA converter box to keep everything as clean and stock as possible.) Im thinking that i must have jumbled the wires from the RCA connection, shorting out something, i checked the fuses. they're all good. is there a fuse on the back of the stereo like there is in aftermarket HU's? any help would be great, i need this fixed ASAP as im going on a 4 week road trip in 2 days...im not sitting in silence lol
i hear ya. thanks for ur input. i just really hope i dont have to worry about getting anew stereo. ill just hook up an aftermarket one then if thats what it comes to. im bringing the car in tomorrow so we'll just have to wait and see what happens
