6*9 choice
I have seen some clarion 6.5 take a beating and a half in one of my friends old azz farm trucks. He's had them for about 6 years and he raggs them bad. They have never caused a problem. They probably retailed for a little under 100.00 when he purchased them.
I have also seen several clarion head units, the older versions, stand the test of time. I support clarion stuff!
I also like most any other name brand. Just don't go with someone you haven't heard of.

i have pioneer 3-way in the 6x9 & 6-1/2 spots in my coupe...
pioneer was the stock speaker maker on 6th gens (at least my car), and they work/sound great with the stock headunit...i've also got a infinity basslink in my car as well (which for the $200 + $80 for amp wire kit was a great buy)

alright thanks guys for the info, i think i will forget about the 6*9 for now and just buy the amp and wire in a sub, ive been told it will sound good with 2 fronts and a sub in the back(its a hatch) because right now my front alpines r putting out alot of mids and high, and they sound really good, im just missing bass
