Ok I'm very new to owning a import. I'v always had domestics and still do, but also have this 86 Honda civic 4dr sedan. Its my g/f car to go from work and back thats pretty much it. Anyway to my question, the cars build dated is 6/86, so I bought the 86-98 wiring harness for it. Turns out the harnes is not the right one as its long and flat were the factory deck the couple wires with a harness on it is more boxie and smaller. it has like 6 wires going into it. My question is will the 83-85 hanress work or did someone do something wrong from the factory bec this thing still has the factory deck in it. i bought it off a little old lady so can't see her having a CD player in it. Anyway how would i wiring it up then bec it only has 1 wire per speaker? The colors, and were they go are on the factory deck. i'm totally lost on this and cant even begin to try and figure it out. is there a wiring diagram online I can D/l for this car?
