Default 95 EX Antenna Replacement Guide

It's really a rather simple procedure despite what you may read by searching on the net. For my 95 ex with a moonroof at least, the antenna wire is simply under the A-pillar trim. Furthermore, it is clipped on, so the attempting to yank the old wire through might be difficult. Luckily this is really a pretty easy job once you know the tricks.

Partially remove the rubber door gasket. Unscrew the driver's sun visor. Slightly pull down the head liner on the corner by the A-pillar. Pry off the trim on the pillar, it just snaps on. You will immediately see how the antenna wire clips on.

Unscrew the antenna from the roof and pull it out a bit. Clip the wire off and remove the old antenna. Notice the hole towards the moon roof under the headliner where the wire goes through the roof. Push your new wire through this hole and pull it in, then install the new antenna and pull the remaining wire through.

Then just run the wire down the A-pillar like the old one and clip it in, and poke it through the hole in the left corner of the dash area. Feed it across underneath to your radio. Snap the trim back into place and screw your sun visor back down.

Thats it. Easy if you know what to do!
