Default 96-00 rear speaker install DIY work for an 01?

The set up of the back seat seems the same, but does anyone know if there is anything extra i need to do, or not do when installing rear speakers for my 01 coupe? Or should it be the same as the 96-00?
Thanks

It should be about the same, just look for the screws and start janking slowly.

pretty sure its the same as the 96-00, i have a 99 and I had to take off the plastics on the sides in the back and then the big plastic piece that covers the speakers. just make sure that you try not to break the plastic clips when taking them off... putting it back on gets tricky. lol but yeah just 4 screws per speaker... you'll have to cut the wires going to the stock ones cause they have a dumb connector going to them. then just crimp on the female adapters. you might have to pinch them a little bit to ensure they're tight. mine kept comming off cause i got in a hurry putting them in.
