i have a 98 civic ex and when i was installing my new aftermarket radio, i brokemyOEM radio, thus my keyless entry is not working. Therefore my questions are.........

1) can i just buy any OEM radio from any 96-98 civic as long it hass the green keyless entry slot in the back of the radio?

2) Will i need some type of "SECURITY CODE" for it to workOR can i just swap it and it will be fine?

Yes you should be able to get away with any old head unit as long as it has the keyless entry option. As for the security code. You will have to find the serial number # and then you can just call your local honda dealer and they can give you the code. You will prolly have to go to the dealer and show some sort of proof of ownership.
