Default OEM radio question

Can I put an oem radio from a 00 ex in a 95 ex without the use of an installation kit or wire hareness?

What about with just a wire harness?

Not even that. They are completly wired different. I dont know why you want to replace your oem with a slightly less crummy new oem radio. If you are handy with a voltmeter it can be done. But you will have to hard wire them regardless.

i will always say DO NOT chop factory wires!!!!!!
forget about swaping in another factory radio..... go buy something you like thats aftermarket and twice as good!!!!!

factory radios are OK if you realy dont care about the radio.....
but its always the first thing i rip outta any car i get!!!!!!!

Its not for my car. I put a new head unit in my car n my friend wanted to put my oem radio in her 95 ex because hers doesn't have a cd player. So I was making sure if it can be put on there or not. But ill talk to her n see what she wants to do.

Thanks guys

ya go ahead and buy a aftermarket radio and aftermarket wiring harness. and slap in a nice cd player...

IF INTERESTED... im trying to sell the cd player that came in my civic...
75bucks takes it. its preaty cool with the little screen savers.....
only reason i removed it cause all my cds are burned into compressed MP3 files and it doesnt play mp3 cds.
but i had my clarion from my truck so i just slaped it on in thier.
radio still works great! i even bought a new remote control and a new battery for the remote cause when i got the car it didnt have one with it

but 75bucks takes it shiped in 48statse. which i think is a preaty good deal for this cd player.

only file of it lite up is a short video showing the retard that instaled the radio in the first place.LOL
missed a whole bolt and clips fell off. but thats all tight now. with my new radio.

the buttons lite up red and the screen is somewhat blue/white... and it has those cool moving screen savers. i realy liked the radio until i tried to put in my mp3 cds and they wouldnt play
and im not a fan of carring around the original cds!
