true BUT you have to realize a theif isnt going to worry about pulling every screw they are gonna rip it out. and 99% of the time they will only steal the bass/ amplifier, head unit... or they steal the whole car and have plenty of time to strip the whole car at there discrepancy.

remeber the subwoofer box is only MDF and a crowbar can bust it apart easy enough. its best to just have fullcoverage insurance and simply document what equipment you have and insure them.

Very true, thieves are little bastards. I live in richyville that always seems to have a cop patrolling. The actual crime rate is practically zero, but there's always the little preppy rich kids that can't think for themselves and want what you have. I'm betting they'd steal the whole car than attempt to get one thing out. In which case I want to make it a pain if that does happen :P I'm really not *too* concerned about stuff getting ripped out. I have considered pepper sprayers. :P

Lets see if I remember how to do pictures....

Or New Orleans in the 90s.... the thieves had tow trucks, uniforms, and fake paperwork. They would just tow the vehicle off with the alarm siren blaring and no one thought anything of it

Even worse, my cousin's neighbor in New Orleans had his Lotus stolen not too long ago.... The alarm never made a sound and it didn't show up on the GPS tracker. They suspect it was a dishonest employee at the shop that installed his alarm who stole his car or assisted, but no one was ever able to prove it
