I need to get access to the radio antenna on my '05 LX so I can plug in a powered FM modulator to run my MP3 player. Is there a connection at the front kick panel like there is on some cars or can I only get at it from the back of the stock HU?

Why do you have to access your antenna. If it is a modulator doesn't it jsut give off a signal and then the antenna picks up the signal?

 

The wireless FM mods you're talking about are pretty weak and really sound crappy. I've had good luck with powered mods in the past that allow you to plug the car antenna into them and then plug into the antenna input on the car head unit. Puts out a hell of a strong signal that can't be overridden by a local FM station. I just need to get access to the car antenna and don't really want to have to rip apart the dash to get to the back of the radio.

I now understand, but remy, one of the audio gurus on this site gave a link to one that he said is crystal clear and it has two frequencies, which in my area, are not occupied.
