Just wondering,

I want to put in an aftermarket deck w/ navi but how would i go about doing that it looks like nearly impossible with the setup and design.

Any suggestions?

 

I don't know what the dash of an 06 looks like. Maybe you should try posting a few pics.

 

Sorry Tdot. You are gonna have to sit out for awhile. I can assure you that Metra is making a dash kit as we speak. It took them forever to come out one for hte new accords.

 

It is way too early to get aftermarket items for the 06 Civic. Anything now would have to be custom made.

 

I want to do something similar on my '06 EX Coupe, and have been to several websites. The only game plan I have in place as of right now is to purchase the center panel assembly from here

Which is only about $30 not including shipping and handling. Then go on the hunt for a respectable double din unit. From what I have seen so far there are about 4-5 viable units.

Now the only draw back is the lack of available wiring harnesses for the '06. As I am pseudo new to modding, I am not sure if that can be overcomed currently.

doesn't the a/c and heat display through the radio display?

 

custom fab carbon fiber or just sit still for a couple months for the aftermarket scene to catch up.

i like the idea of buying the center assembly though. pics when youre done!

 

good news man, i was scrolling through ebay i searched like "2006 Civic" to see what parts if any would ocme up there a dash kit that looks real nice.. ima try and get you al ink
