alarm problem
could be two things... the brain and then the shock sensor.....
but how good is your alarm instaled? like if the doors are open will it set off the alarm? if so just discount the shock sensor.... just pull the ribben cable....
but first try it out..... hit the arm button and then hit it a second time.... which for most alarms it should set off the sirn for a second.... which notifies you that the shock sensor is turned off...... and if thats the problem it should keep it from going off.... and if your alarm is instaled right where if ya open the doors, trunk, or een the hood it seting the alarm off..... well ya realy dont need the shock sensor.....

the alarm is good i guess. yea when the doors are open and the alarm is armed it does go off. but i cant turn off the shock sensor. i can only disarm it, which just leaves me with remote start and keyless entry and no alarm.
well simply just unplug the shock sensor from the alarms brain unit then....
its still a alarm... if the door is opened it will trigger and go off... no problem thier......

Have you tried adjusting the shock sensor? Can you in your model? Mine can. Try to find programming instructions. It will be something like holding two buttons for 6 seconds while alarm is diarmed and everything closed with you outside, then button presses to step up and down the sensor, you can then test it by palming the door frame until the desired sensitivity.
Try to find your brain and find out what model it is and google it
Probably under dash on drivers side.

ya just unplug the shock sensor or think about buying a new alarm system........
with newer alarms they have a memory.... so what ever is triggering the alarm you can see what the problem is by using the memory feature..

Just wondering- Do you live near a major road, airport, or is there a plaza with dumpsters in close proximity to your house? I was wondering why my alarm kept going off seemingly at random both at home and work. I finally realized the airplanes taking off over my house were setting off my alarm at home, and the vibration from the trucks slamming the dumpster bin down after emptying them was setting it off at work.
