^^^ i dont think you can hook up an auto start on a manual car ^^^ correct me if i'm wrong, but the clutch needs to be in to turn it on...

unless they came out with something new i dont know about for manula cars, and if thats the case i need one ASAP.

It can be done but its not a good idea. You have to disable the safty thing that makes it need to have the clutch pushed in to start. The bad thing about doing that is that if you forget to keep your car in neutral and you go to start it in first gear then it will jump and stall... probably into another car.

The alarm should have a fail safe mode if it is in gear and wont allow it to turn on.

DEI interface 689M is a manual remote start interface...MAP is $100 they just became available

DEI products (makers of viper/python/clifford ect) are gonna be good, it's the install that's the killer. Most shops no matter what they tell you will just install the unit just behind the drivers knee bolster next to the steering column and frankly it's not secure.....

Compustar or DEI alarms are a good choice, but also having a fuel kill switch, and a few others is that much better....

ya i checked out a compustar system it is going to cost $499 for the system and to hook up the remote starter it is $200 more but the guy said he could do better on the $200 for me

no there are several ways to do it safley...make your own.. or use the interface that DEI has for manuals
