Default alpine type r problems in 98 civic ex

EDITED READ AGAIN IF YOU ARE REPOSTING

i bought some alpine type r, i got the ones where the components are a different piece, i don't believe they will fit in the stock spot but i'm not sure, do most people get the ones where they are one piece? if so should i get those ones or have people mounted them in a different spot or just not used them or what?

ANOTHER QUESTION

i got the speakers to fit fine.
the magnetic waves or whatever are pushing the speaker around.
they wont once i screw it down.
will this damage the speaker?
should i use something between the metal around the speaker and the speaker?

i explained it badly and then got some advice on things not really needed so i decided to try again making it clearer.

thanks in advance, any help would be great.

The speakers you have sound like they are too big for the door. If the window is hitting it, then the magnet is too big

I had to fabricate some spacers to get my 6.5 components to fit in the door locations... I'm not sure how much space they have between the front of the cone and the grille in the door on 6th gens, but if it's close you can either get some spacers or make them out of MDF, etc.

chop out the plastic around the door panel enough to fit and if you need to make a spacer or just washers between the door panel and speaker frame to space the speaker out alittle.
the stockers SUCK......
have fun choping just be sure to CUT SMALL ONCE and recut little by little.... its easier to cut a small sliver out than it is to build some kinda adaptor if ya cut to much out

heres mine.

I didn't take any photos, but I basically did the same thing to fit my Alpine SPS-600 speakers in the doors. I pulled the panels and put the Dremel to work.

Of course, while I was in there, I saw what kind of hacks work in the Local Honda Stealership's repair shop... TWO plastic clips were missing from the driver's side door panel, the plastic water barrier shield was gone, and the screw that holds the metal piece to the door at the switch panel was stripped and almost completely out. I still remember that day when the stealership was rushing to fix my late wife's power window because she needed it for a trip she was taking, yet look at what they did to get it ready on time.
