Amp Install 97 dx hatch
I have a 2 channel 1000 watt amp going to two subs. I know about the firewall to get to battery, so my only question is how/where to plug in rca's.
I can take apart the plastic to get to the HU tomorrow, and I hope I find to rca jacks. and will splice the little blue REM with my kits REM wire.
I have seen pics on how to dismantle everything to get to the HU, just need to know about the rca's thanks.
some recommendations relative to this are OK like aftermarket HU suggestions.

The stock headunit will not have RCA jacks. You will need to either put in a line level converter (converts your speaker outputs to RCA) if your amp does not have line level inputs (speaker inputs) or you will need to replace the headunit.
As far as what to get, it depends on what features you want and how much $$$.
Options are:
Bluetooth, HD Radio, Satellite Radio, iPod controls, USB inputs, DVD, Hard drive, Video, etc.
