Yeah I agree that its probably in protectionmode...fried amp=no lights, flashing light=its trying to tell you something is wrong. Sometimes (if you still have manual, or can find one to download) there is a rythem to the flashing and you find out whats wrong by what the code tells you. Worked for me on a kenwood deck I installed where a screw went through a speaker wire when the panels were put back into place.

I'd be checking connections if nothing else works...perhaps a frayed power or ground (even speaker wire) a loose wire in the strand crossing into another connection causing the issue. Many possibilities...hopefully you can find a manual and it tells you what the flashing means.

i checked the fuses and they were fine, the battery has a good charge. im almost 100% shure thats the only light on the amp but ill check again this afternoon when i get back to my car. im also gunna doublecheck all the grounds and wires. any recommended sites to find a manual for the amp?

either the manufacturer site, or try google...I've always bought my stuff new, so up to this point I've had the manual in hand
