Default amp for rockford stage 3?

what kind of amp should i get to power it perfectly at its RMS
usually i kno this stuff but the 2 ohm voice coils confuses me

do i get an amp that is 500x1 rms at 2 ohms?

with the sub @ dual 2 you could wire it up to be 4 ohm or 1 ohm. therefore, you would need an amp that pushes 500w at either 1 ohm or 4 ohm.

To get 500 watts at 4 ohms you will need an amp that will push 1000 watts of RMS power at 2 ohms. If you pick up a dual 4 ohm speaker instead you will save hundreds on an amp.
