ok, so I'm looking to get at least get two 10" JLw3v3s subs and possible some w7s later on..... heh.... don't need any help on the sub brands-- JL is an easy choice. But what amp should I get to go with them?
-- the 10" 3v3s like to run around 300w a peace..... can I run them both off one amp and still have clean sound?
-- What if I get two 12" w7s later on? Should that have an effect on my amp selection now?

Well, since you chose JL, you are obviously going for a loud sub, not SQ. Go out and buy a big brick from rockford which should set you pretty straight.

Diamond Audio D9's are the way to go!!!! At least for subs!!! There amps are ridiculous!!!Also try out something in a D6 series for amps, really impressive, and a lifetime warranty dosn't hurt either!!!

Is there any sense in mixing sub brands or sizes?... like having two 10s of one brand and two 12s od another...... or even just having two 10s and two 12s as apposed to having four 10s or four 12s?
