damn i thought i posted last night at like 5 in the morning , oh well, dont spend all that money on rca's untill you know wxactly what the problem is, make sure a wire isnt pinched or anything., DO YOU EVER GET ANY ENGINE noise.? take it in too a local stereo shop with an amazing reputation! I dont know weere yo uaer from but if u live in toronto i can give you a great shop location, they will find out what your problem is very very quickly , and so will anyone else who knows what they qare talking about! i would have to listen to it to be able to tell you, and i would have to look at the system

 

well let me try to explain it better if my system is off there is no noise, but it i turn it on right when i hit the button there is a boom of bass then it like makes a ticking noise but its bassy so it sounds like its rumbling but if you get close to the subs its like a tick with bass lol and also when i hit my sunroof open close buttons it will thump just like when you turn it on its really wierd hope this helps a bit

did you do the wiring for the system yourself? did you check the ground to eliminate that possibility?

ARE THE TRIGGER WIRE AND POWER WIRE RAN ON THE SAME SIDE?? OF YOUR CAR IF SO SWITCH IT/ and secondly did you ground yoour rca's to the amp and metal near the deck. i didnt on mine i have no problems but my buddy had to ground his !
