buzzy sound evem with car off HELP!!

Default buzzy sound evem with car off HELP!!

sup guys,i got this big problem and the reason why i say this is because ionly 1 driver seat and barly anything inside the car,i toke it apart to find out why it is making this buzzing sound even when the car is off,when i turn the car on i hear nothing but the alternator in the speakers,now i toke the head unit apart and re wired the wired to the speakers n amps but the buzzing is still there,now aruff lay out of my sound system is 4 speakers 2 amps (1 2000watt and 1 300 watt) i got a capasitor a distibutor block,no matter what i do thebuzz is there,can any one help me,thanks for any info in advanced

well let me sum it up,it buzzez when the car is off,kinda loud do you guys think it might be a bad ground,RCA issue here??

most likely RCA's are running near your other wires or maybe bad grounds, check both of those before doing anything else as those are the cheapest ways to go.

okay i'll check that when the rain stops puring but also could it be possible that the amp itself that could be cousin the the buzzing sound if damaged? and also thanks for the info

I am going to take a guess, and say you have a Pioneer HU?

If so that is a common issue for them. Re-ground the HU to the chasis, and sand it down to shiny metal. IF that doesn't help get some 18 gauge wire and wrap it around the RCA outputs ont he HU and screw the wire down to a screw on the back of the HU.

yup good guess and what your saying is to just ground it right out on the body of the head unit? at least the ground for the headunit to itself pretty much,if im understanding this correctly

wow that worked perfectly man,thanks for all your help n pulling outa this hole,if you dont mind me asking how does this happen,like what couses this,how does the rca jack like interfear with each other?

To be honest I'm not sure how it happens, I just know it's common on Pioneer HUs. But glad to hear that worked, I figured that was the problem.
