Default CD Player Problem

I have a friend with a 99 civic that has the factory radio in it with CD Player. She hit a hard bump one day and now the it doesn't work. It will accept the CD, read it then an error code "E-00" Willl pop up and it will spit the CD out. Does anyone know what that code is and or what I can do to resolve this situation? Let me know any ideas. Thanks.

Daryl

i think its screwed, not to sound harsh. CD players are fragile, and if its doing that, there isnt much you can do, might as well upgrade
