Default Civic Hexagon Wall

I recently bought a 89 civic hatch and it has body mods and engine mods but nothing in the realm of audio, and that is what I do best.

Started by building two halves of the wall in full box form.

Had to raduis the top corners to fit the headliner and then block off the opening.

This is where it started to get fun.

Still had the old master plug from building a different enclosure.

After lots of measuring, I screwed the plates in and ran it through the router with a straight bit.

I disassembled the boxes and used this side as a master for the other 3.

I got all of the first photos done in an evening. I started working on it at 3pm and other than an hour of taking Alli to work I was done at about 1 in the morning. Then the next day I worked on this.

Got the back wall trimmed out and the amp racks on either side. The amps will be going on the pieces that are at the same 60 degree angle as the box

Got kinda cold out so she had to come in and get dusty. That's what I get for working on it until 5 am.

A budy of mine in my car club has a little club car show with his daughters birthday party so I threw in the subs for it.

That looks like it'll be one hell of a show car. Nice build!

Thanks man. I got it knowing it needed alot of body work and some TLC in other places but hopefully I can turn it around.

I think it's kinda ugly, but that's just because i'm not into this stuff.

What I really appreciate here is the undeniable level of craftsmanship. Everything looks perfect. Every line, every angle, everything.

Yes eveyone likes different things. I can appreciate that.

Thanks for noticing the amount of thought I put into my builds. It's nice when someone doesn't like the look but can still see the details. Like the fact that the amp racks in the back follow the exact line and angle as the bottom sub angles.
