cleaned things up a bit (pics...56k?)
I tend to half *** things that are hard to do..what can I say? I'm lazy. When I was intsalling my sub and second amp, it was so hot that I just made all the connections and said screw it. I took the time today to clean up all the wiring.
Here's the before shot...

And here's after, not perfect..but 100x better

If you are wondering why the floor sags in the middle, thats my failed attempt to make a hinged floor in the hatch. I'll make another one out of 1/4" mdf when I decide to get off my *** again. I also turned my sub up today and screwed brackets into it. Having the sub facing up seemed to make it sound better, so I just left it.

Yeah looks better than the before but could still use some work. I cant really say much because mine does not look terrible better but ill post some pics soon since i actually need to re wire some stuff as well.
It needs to be vacuumed really bad back there. I'll finish everything up with zip ties and wire looms when I can catch an overcast day. I swear I had no more sweat after that little bit of work..I couldnt even spit, lol
a little advice on the sub box, velcro works wonders, rather than having huge, ugly looking brackets screwed down to secure it. i did mine in like 1 minute a long time ago and they're still holding strong. another suggestion is to mount the amps on the rear seats and hide the wiring under the carpet. it frees up a ton of room in the trunk.
lots better, still not perfect thouhg, longer wires that you can run under the amp then up and around under the carpet would be prime, that and zip ties. Zip ties are just about the best thing ever made if you want a clean install

I think its time for a clean fiberglass install

I'm not really worried about it looking good right now, I'm worried about someone stealing it. Thieves wont even fool with something screwed down because it takes too long to get out, and I dont think many carry an electric drill around. I tried to put my amps on the back of my seat but all I had was wood screws at the time. I'm done with my car for the time being, saving to go to Thailand again.
