I purchased my new Black, civic ex (no-navi, with single disc cd- mp3\wma) sedan. (Canada model)

Alpine has built a alot of Hondas headunits and I know the 2006 has a bus adapter for a cd changer or ipod interface (built by Honda, not Alpine)

I wonder if anyone has pulled the deck out and can confirm, who makes the OEM.

I have a new highend ALPINE head unit in my older accord (aftermarker not honda OEM) and I can hook up a Apline made IPOD adapter.

I wonder if the new 2006 civics would work.
My Alpine rep said "all Ai-NET compatible decks will work with the ipod interface"
We will not find any of Alpines specs on a honda tech sheet, so we need to find out directly from Apline. (good luck)

Any one thought of this, or have any input on the deck manufacturer?
