custom box and new set up!!!!! PICS!
im thinking of doing a possible write up on these because i tried to take a lot of pictures along the way. So along the way of doing my box i figured that i would instead cover/wrap it in something. Traveled to walmart and picked up some speaker box/felt type material. Black. Any wrinkles or seams that had to be cut i put in back where no one would be able to see it. so this is what it looks like..still waiting on the sub.. ill get pics tomorrow of it with it in the car.

thanks and honestly those pictures dont do it any justice it looks real good.
hopefully when its in the trunk and set up it'll look all better. Its just i hope i used enough fiberglass so the sub doesnt blow it apart haha....[:-]

LOL sorry just noticed this thread....
i think if i was you id flip the amp over... put all the wire conections in the rear and try to hide them as much as ya can instead of being infront like that
looks alright but i think ya shoulda just built a MDF box tight against the bench seat....

i think if u drilled small holes in the front of that box, right where each wire would go and ran the wires through the wholes and down through the bottom of the box it wouldnt look bad, just M.O then there wouldnt b sloppy wires hangin all over
or even glass another trim panel... just to go over the wires and hide them....
thats the worst part about a instal is when ya see all the wires just hanged around everywhere...
to do all that glass work and have some ugly wires making it look bad is just a shame....
thats mainly why i like MDF... simple and easy to work with!
as soon as this heat cools to about 80degrees ill start building my box... it sjust to hot out to be messen around inside the car!
