Longs story short: Light behind the gear selection part on the instrument cluster is out. One of the lights that backlights the centre consol was accidentally smashed when I was distracted by two chicks making out. I cant get the parts from repco or supercheap auto. Does anyone know from where I can get them from? Dick Smith or Tandy might have them? Or the Honda dealer maybe? I know the stores are different over here, but I mean generally, anyone know if I should go looking at acar parts shop, an electronics shop or a Honda dealer? Or anywhere else.

 

DAMMIT THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS! SOMEONE! ANYONE! HELP ME! Has no one ever replaced a LED from the instrument cluster or the centre console? Im starting to think Im just gonna go flexi strips and make a mission out of it. BUT I STILL NEED THAT LED!

 

Ok for anyone who is interested, the only place to get them is from a Honda parts dealer. And they are like $5-$15 for a little light each.

 

I get mine at Autozone/Advanced Auto Parts/ ETC...

I wish I had seen this thread, because I think I have two extras somewhere. LOL Sorry.

 

Its ok, I live on the other side of the world. Takin a trip to the Honda dealer was much easier thanks anyway. Yea It was about $20 AU for the 2 bulbs, how much do you get charged at Autozone?

you mean the bulb? or led type?
i got the bulbs from my clusters backing with the blue coating on them...
but if your talking about the LED gear selector part then i threw that part away from my old scrap cluster...

these are what i got......

 

The Honda OEM bulbs. I have the same as what you have but with red silicone sleeves. Not overly bright, but im gonna see how I like them before I hack into my cluster and AC controls.
