Default Deck Removal

Yeah, I'm such a newb that I can't even remove my cd deck. Actually, it's just being really difficult, and not sliding out when I press on the latch thingies on the sides. I have a picture here.
It's a Pioneer DEH-P3700MP. If anyone could give me any hint on why it is being so difficult, that would be rad!

Thanks!

You need something this to slide in the middle on both sides about 3-4 inches back and it will release. If you dont have the pioneer keys try to find something similar around the house that will work.

These are what the pioneer keys look like.

You can't use those because the deck is screwed w bolts on 2 sides. U have to remove the under wheel panel and glovebox to remove the panel w the dc output, then u have to remove the main console out to get access to the deck. it's real pain. if you need more help, pm or keep posting

I'm pretty sure that when you install the aftermarket CD player you don't bolt it down, the stock radio is bolted though, but his isn't stock.

So those keys should work.

Yeah ive seen alot af people do and want this, but Ive also seen theives cause 3k in damage trying to get a 300 dollar deck out. They start kicking in the dash around it and then are so mad they cant get it out the take a razor and slice all the seats and door panels.

Thanks Leviii, I'll give that a try!
