Default Dome Light/Keyless Entry - New Head Unit - 2009 Coupe LX

Ok .. I've read most of the posts about the dome light/keyless entry no logner working after changing the head unit (wish I'd have read them prior) but anyway everything I've read relates to pre 2000 civics.

Well here I am with a brand new 09 LX coupe that I just changed the head unit and now I have no Keyless and no Dome lights, etc...

Is ther anything that I can do that will correct this problem? ANY HELP will be appreciated.

Thanks
Chris

I don't know about the newest body style, but what people have done is have both in there. You keep the stock one wired in and have it stuffed around the core support under the dash while you have your aftermarket one where it is now and have the wires spliced in.

It just seems to me that someone somewhere has to have made an adapter kit by now for this issue.

I have never heard of this happening in the new models, only in the 96-98 civics. I have installed 2 or 3 radios in new civics and had no problem with the keyless. I would check all of your fuses to make sure that none are blown.
