Default Double din install help

Hello - I purchased a new radio for my '00 Civic, a double din. I ordered this kit

Amazon.com: Metra 95-7801 Double DIN Installation Kit for Select 1990-2002 Acura/Honda/Isuzu Vehicles: Car Electronics Amazon.com: Metra 95-7801 Double DIN Installation Kit for Select 1990-2002 Acura/Honda/Isuzu Vehicles: Car Electronics

The reviews look bad for this kit. Looking at this I am not sure what all these pieces are for. Then I saw this...

Radio Stereo Install Double DIN Installation Dash Kit G | eBay

This one looks simple and easy to use. Anyone have experience with the Metra? I have never installed my own radio and this kit puzzle is discouraging.

Any help is appreciated. Am I removing the whole metal chassis that's holding the stock radio and replacing with this kit?

The Ebay kit will be easier to use. Don't really care for either of them as they use the snap clips to secure the radio and they can be difficult to make fit correctly or stay in tightly.
I would see if there is any way to use your current bracket, but you still may need a bezel anyway.

I have the metra in my teg. No problems. Just follow the directions and you should be fine. The bezel thing does pop out when I hit hard bumps. Doesn't really bother me to push it back in. It has become second nature at this point.

Thanks! I bought the Metra first and then discovered the eBay item. I bought it also. I have a feeling I am going to send the Metra back because it came from Amazon and much easier to return.
