Default DVC wiring

I want to wire one 4-ohm DVC subwoofer bridged on channels 3/4 of my amp. The amp is only stable when bridged for 4-ohms, and all the wiring diagrams I have seen for a single DVC woofer present a 2-ohm load. How can I wire this up? Thanks!

Option 1 (parallel) = 2 ohm load
Voice coils wired in parallel
Recommended Amplifier: Stable at 2 or 1 ohm mono

Option 2 (series) = 8 ohm load
Voice coils wired in series
Recommended Amplifier: Stable at 4, 2, or 1 ohm mono

here are your options....this or get another woofer!

so if i understand correctly, i could buy a 2-ohm DVC sub and wire it in series and bridge it safely at 4-ohms, right?

With a dual 4 you can only do 2 or 8 ohms, if you had 2 dual 4vc subs you could do 1ohm or 4 ohm.

With a dual 2 you can only do 4 or 1 ohms, if you had 2 dual 2vc subs you could do .5ohm or 2 ohm.

So if you have to get a total of 4 ohms for the amp, you either need 2 dual 4ohm subs, or 1 dual 2ohm sub.
