for the liscence plate rattle ya need to do 2 things...
pull the plate trim panel... deaden under it then screw the trim back on.... then slap some more deadener on the actualy liscence plate OR like i did i just put it on my trim panel cause im thinking about doing a custom plate....

the worst part about a civic and that rattle is the liscence plate itself... cause the lower part just tucks in.....
if ya dont mind drilling into your trunk id say deaden the whole liscence plate or area and drill holes into the lower plate holes....... then just bolt it down...

thats what im planing to do to mine next.... but my liscence plate isnt rattling now BUT my liscence plate trim piece does......
ill probably just bust out the glue gun for it tho
just havent felt like doing it lately. LOL


i havent deadened my civic yet but that does seem to be a decent price!!!
tho i doubt that one kit will do the whole car... just buy one for your trouble areas and work from thier till ya dont have anymore. and when ya can just buy somemore

 

for the license plate i just took it of, put a rag or piece of old shirt behind it, and screwed it back on. cheap and easy way for NO rattle.

weather stripping is what i used for license plate.. worked perfect..and yeah dynamat adds alot of weight
