I just finished installing some dynamat extreme to my trunk lid and it still rattles a LOT[:@]. I have 3 layers of dynamat covering almost all of it. What else can I do to stop the rattle (I have a 99 civic lx by the way)?

 

Get creative? Find out EXACTY where the rattling is coming from. Tell me where its comin from and ill tell ya how to fix it.

 

You realize that you are suppsed to Dynamat whatever is gonna rattle, or is rattling, right? You dont' just line your trunk with it and it magically stops the lisence plate from rattling. People put it behind the lining of their interior to keep the sound in the car, not to prevent rattling.
