Default FiberglassingI have

Ok so I am building a fiberglass speaker enclosure for my hatch. I have the enclosure fleeced and resin has been applied to the fleece to make it stiff. Now I was wondering what the correct way to lay the fiberglass on is. Do you dip the fiberglass in the resin then lay it on, or apply resin to the enclosure then put the fiberglass over it, or place the fiberglass where you want it then apply resin on it?

I think any of those ways would work, but this is my first time, so just wondering what the best and most productive way is?thanks

From the various guides I've read they place the fiberglass down and then brush on the resin.

Bursh the spoton the box with a littlebit ofresinso the glass sticks to itthen they the glass down then go over it with a brush. Make sure the hole piece gets soaked in resin, you will notice the lighter spots that are not.

The other 2 ways wouldnt work

also depends on how thick your glass is... if its just chop then id dip it into the resin and slap it on where ya want it....
but its definatly a think ya got to learn by yourself whats best for you

exacly like mill$civic said, brush a spot so the material will stick then coat it with resin. make sure you get it evenly coated across your whole box so you don't end up with soft spots, this will give your box better sound.
