rms watts is the true power of the amp... if a amp says like 1100 watts thats the peak power.... its best to go by rms all you need is like a 600 watt amp and 2 10's or a 800watt 2ch or mono and 1 good 12. used systems are fairly cheap... there is a local kid here that has 2 sony xplode 10's and a 1100watt sony amp for 150$.there are alot of good brands to look for and there are brands to not buy. just search for what is near you and post and we will try to help u. but if you go to buy anything make them hook it up first. or no cash tell them!

OKay, im searching for a 600-800 RMS amp.

what are 1 channel amps?
and 5 channel amps? Don't see what the difference is about.

EDIT: -->http://www.frys.com/product/5946014?...H:MAIN_RSLT_PG
That's the Fusion 96civichb, i find it as a good price what do you think?

Whats my best bet with an amp to give me a nice kick and bass wobble (250$ limit) =/

EDIT2: -->http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/ele/1351226235.html
4 channel amp? maybe lower down to 250$ and get a 50$ 12 sub?
(somebody explain difference between 1 channel - 5 channel amps please, thank you)

EDIT3: -->http://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/ele/1346249688.html

Guy sounds reliable, and the price sounds unbeatable. any pointers as to which sounds good?

the last 2 links seem good.. try the 3rd link and offer hi 175$ cash.. but make sure he hooks them up.. feel the sub push it in a little to check the stiffness it shouldnt be real soft and flimsy or make and scraping noises or be stuck
