Default Is this a good combo?

I'm thinking two of these, powered by one of these. Would that be a good combination? I'm looking to put them into a dual ported box.

Also, would I require a cap?

Looks good. I dont think you will need a cap, but they are always a good idea if you can afford to put one in.

hmmm im gonna have to think about this one and get back on it here in a bit...subs might be pretty good but im still thinkin about the amp....ive just heard infinity amps arent that efficient and distort pretty easy.

The combined RMS of the two subs is 700w, they're 4ohm single voice coil subs so I would wire them to 2ohm. Here is an alpine that will do 800 to a 2ohm load: amp

yeah, the alpine is much better suited for the power requirements of the sub. Go with that.

i would think that about would be alot better then the infinity...do a search though and compare on prices cause crutchfield is always pretty high even though they have great service.Really i would look at this company that i know the ppl at...i dont know if you have heard of them but they make kick *** stuff and all thier stuff comes with a 5yr warranty which pretty much cant be beat and its cheaper....take a look....and everything is underrated by the way.
