i jus think 4 ohms hits better, not as much distortion, especially with those subs, they are "perfect"(lol) bumpin at 4 ohms, why change it? lol

well, if you wire 2 SVC 4 ohm subs up, you end up with a 2ohm load to the amp, thats the "ideal" resistance level for highest power and output from any amp, unless its 1 ohm stable which is a whole different story.

Those subs will wire up perfectly. I like them.

Yeah, that's exactly what I was saying. I did hear one time that amps are able to put out a cleaner signal on a 4ohm load but I don't see how that would be true.

the difference in sq is hardly noticable if at all between diff ohms, there is nothing wrong with infinity amps, they are actually built like tanks and will last a long time, not to say that the alpine is any worse, but id go with the alpine, just for more power and a little of overhead room. and ya 2 svc 4ohm subs wire to 2ohm and 8ohm, and the alpine is not 1ohm stable, so youre getting the max output out of the amp..
