Default Got everything working!!!

So first try at everything failed miserably.....my box sucked, my amp mysteriously blew fuses, etc.

But now! I built a new box for my AQ SDC2.5 12" sub.....around 2cuft net tuned to ~38Hz.......and got the sub put in and all ready to go.

Now, I was more than a little nervous hooking up my amp. I rechecked EVERYTHING to make sure all the wires were good, and i got some new RCAs (mainly cause i wanted to). Finally, it was time to hook up the power wire.....seriously, I was scared. But for no reason lol. Everything worked fine

Then i turned on my car, and the sub didn't play. I was like, "Of course..." but after double checking the gains, and adjusting the bass **** (which is really a gain **** on the AQs) I got it all working and...

HOLY CRAP!!!! I haven't owned anything that sounds that good! Haha unfortunately other cars will hear the bass too, so I'll have to watch the volume. I will NOT be that douchebag at the light making everyone listen to his bass

Anyways, this was big deal for me so I thought I'd share it with you guys

run your power wire down one side of the car, and the RCA's and remote wire (if applicable) down the other side of the car. This prevents interference.

I wont get interference from running the power down passenger side and the rcas and speaker wire up the middle. Plus my rca's are super legit and I could most likely braid it around my power and not get any whine. Plus I know how to ground with the best of them so whine should be no problem. Im running them up the middle into the center console because it will be so much quicker and easier to access.

Yea, either this weekend or next Ill try pulling up the middle carpet. iF it gives me problems I'll just run the door but that seems like more of a hassle.

ugh. I just want someone else to install it. piecing it all together takes long enough.

Haha I'd totally do it for you, but your probably really far away....I'm in NM.

And running it down the side really wasnt that hard, just popping off panels.
