Griffin RoadTrip
Has anyone tried the Griffin RoadTrip in their Civic? I have a 2002 and I'm concerned that the 12V is too far tucked in for the RoadTrip to fit well (or at all)

(Or if you've used another iPod charger/transmitter combo like this, even if it's not a RoadTrip, I'd love to hear your feedback -- positive or negative -- about how it fits)

i have the itrip that apple makes, its on my mini and just plugs into the top, its real small and lights up with the lil nobby thing on the side to change the channel and it uses the power from the ipod. I love it thing is beast once u find a good channel that comes in strong but is not used (hard to xplain but 88.2 works for me) it sounds like CD quality. The best part is is that u can control the volume on the ipod and on the head unit so u can get it to loud and if becomes distorted, the itrip adjusts itself so it comes in clear agn. Id highly recommend the 1 i have but im not sure about that 1. I also have used a Casio one that goes into that 12 v outlet but it sucked huge ***** lol but that mighta been bcause of the brand name casio and i got it for 12 bucks lol
GAH why do people think that the goddamn itrip is made by apple... IT ISN'T!!!!!!!! it is made by griffin technologies... sorry to burst like that but i have to deal with ipods on a day to day basiss, and people constantly asking about their itrip...
depending on the year of your car, head unit etc... find the proper adapter that will allow you to either plug in line level RCAs to your head unit, and get a Flex dock, or that'll adapt to the iPod itself and allow full control...
1,000,000x better than using and FM transmitter, and it'll save you some hassle in the long run
