I'm looking at getting a better head unit i'm seeing what you guys would have to suggest. I really prefer sony, pioneer, or alpine.

My biggest pet peave would be one with a USB port where I can control my ipod/ zune thru the head unit as opposed to an aux cord. Then of course good EQ's and some **** to mess around with.

 

The Alpine iDA-X001 is the best for your need's although it does use a cable.....Big deal. It will do a standard USB, as well as the ipod connection.The Kenwood 435U has a usb on the front.
