Nah, itll sound fine. If you are a purist like I am, I would be a new deck in there so I could hook up my subs without adaptors and stuff like that.

I'm not sure if I read it right, and I don't know if it has it, but if at all possible, find/hook up your RCA jacks from your CD player to your amp. This will keep your stock speakers playing the same sound you want, but send the same signal they're getting back to your amp/sub. Whatever you do, you shouldn't have to worry about losing your remote function. But if you don't have RCA jacks in the back of your player, I would have to go with remmy. Get a new deck. I hope I read this right and not just amusing you all with my stupidity!

well, if you dont want to change out that unit. Just get an amp with "line level inputs". run speaker wire off your back deck speakers and connect them to the amp and you will be fine.

I had mine set up like that, back speakers to the line level inputs until my friend slapped me! That works too, but you'll be running power through those back speakers to your amp, not as strong of a signal as if you ran RCA's straight to your amp. I would suggest that if you don't have RCA's or don't want to buy a new deck. Trust me, you'll notice if you were to run it both ways to compare. RCA if possible at all costs!!!
