Help on some audio!!!!!!!
dont use 8 gauge.......use 4.............ull get much better power distrubution........follow the factory wires........see where they go thru........if theres no room then u just gotta CAREFULLY drill ur own hole
if ur amp only has room for 8 gauge wiring(like the fosgate 3002)... u can always run the 4 gauge, and then split it to an 8 into the amp then another 8 into your mids and highs amp... but u will want the 4 gauge as your main line of power
Using 4 awg you may be wasting time and money. What is the fuse rating on your amp, this will be the best way to tell what size wiring your need. Dont listen to these other guys saying you need 4, thats just rediculous. Also, what make and model car do you have and if so Ill post some pics of the best places to go thought the firewall as I have done hundreds.
