hi~ i have a problem with a honda civic 03, im trying to install a new cd player into it~ but we are not able to get a wire harness so we had to hard wire it.

But now... the CD player only starts up while making a... buzzing?? cd reading kinda noise.... the screen of the cd player wont turn on etcetc... @@"
also the central locking has stoped working? is this a result of that?
any help... would be appreciated thanks XD

 

You can bet there is a problem in your wiring. Double check!

because i matched up the old wiring to the colours

 

I think he's suggesting to double check all of your connectors. Did you solder them? If not you may have a loose connection also.

 

Did you looks at best buy for a wiring harness?
Or online??

 

Sometimes you cant just color match the new radio to the car harness. check the colors he listed up on top. It should be wired that way.

 

Goodness. Get a wiring harness off ebay. I'm a car audio professional and I would never attempt what you're doing.
