mm.....are the HIDs defective? Like when you hook the harness up to the standard projector headlights do they flicker?

check your connections again. is this flickering on one side or both side? if one side see if switching the bulb or ballast works. and when it lights up or flicker is it HID light or halogen light?

yea your going to need one of those. sounds like the stock harness is not pushing enough power to turn on the HID's and the ballast is drawing too much power to start up. if that does not fix the problem then it is probably bad ballast

dito... if they work fine on the battery its just your headlight harness isnt getting enough power to them, tho they have worked fine for me on both my civics...
but here ya go buy this and slap it on. very simple!
http://shop.ebay.com/items/_W0QQ_dmp...elay&_osacat=0

if you have bixenon hids they be sure to buy the bixenon wiring kit.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HID-H...Q5fAccessories

now i cannt say which kit is the best... your judge for yourself with there feedback.

OR if you want to make your own you can with a inline fuse some wire, a relay and afew wire terminals....

tho making it yourself will cost more money than those since they buy in bulk...... so might as well just buy a built kit which should work with ease...
