Personally, I install my own alarm very badly..... In all seriousness though, if you want to be sure it's going to work properly and not mess anything else up, pay the money and have it done professionally. I've tried it, and it's really not that easy.

i disagree... they are very easy for me... but also depends on the vehicle and year..... newer GM vehicles i hate doing cause of thier passlock factory systems can get confusing.

ya just have to take your time and do your research on your wiring... ya realy dont need shock sensors.... pin switches work great for anything! cause if someone breaks your lock or breaks a window to get in... thier gonna open the door and when the doors open the pin switches set the alarm off...

ya if ya just got the actuators youll also need 2 12volt relays to get them to lock and unlock properly... id tell ya more BUT i got to be at work in8 hours... so i g2g to sleep.LOL
you don't need relays, when i did mine i got some actuators aswell, i guess it depands on the type of actuators, mine had it's own little box of tricks for wires to plug into, and then ran to the alarm. didn't need no relays and works good. except when i wash my car, and the locks freeze cause its minus 20.

ya if the locks come with a special box for wiring its easier... BUT those cheap ones they dont come with them.... just a motor with 2 wires comen off it.

those cheap ones are cheap cause they dont come with the wiring.LOL
i used them on my old crx and it worked great... best part was i only spent like15bucks on them

I installed the autoloc keyless entry system on my car with only small problems, but I am having the same problem as you now - not wanting to mess with the wiring to hook up the relay to the lights.. Still trying to figure it out..

to the lights just find a decent wiring diagram that says where its at and what color wire it is then just dig around and test it
tho NEVER probe any of the airbag wires with the yellow jacket around the 2wires...

i taped into mine under my steering colum... cause thats where my controls are located.
